What you get
Where a decorating business feels the difference
Decorating is priced room by room and worked day by day. These parts of FESK.UK help both sides add up.
Walls only, or the whole room
With quote options on, one quote can carry walls only, walls and ceiling, and the whole room with the woodwork. The customer picks one on their phone, and that option becomes the job.
Paint at what you paid
Keep emulsion, satinwood, primer, filler and caulk in the Library at cost and sale price. On the job they sit against your labour, so the profit uses what the tins actually cost.
Trade counter receipts claimed from the phone
A decorator who picks up extra paint claims it with a photo of the receipt and the job it was for. Once you approve it, it lands on the job at cost and can be billed on.
Days booked around the drying
Give the job extra visit days with their own times: the mist coat, the second coat, the gloss. Each shows on the schedule, and the hours stay on one job.
How long a room really takes
Reports show how long each kind of job really takes, and new jobs get a typical length from your own past work. Profit by job shows which rooms ran over.
Exterior work and ladders
Built-in RAMS cover interior decorating and exterior painting. Jobs that mention ladders or a tower bring up the height check, and on houses built before 2000 the asbestos prompt comes up before you sand.
One job, start to finish
A lounge repaint, from the first message to paid
Claire Benson and Nathan are made up; what the app does is real.
It starts on your website, at any hour
Claire writes in the night. With the AI add-on, Front Desk replies and files it. Without it, Claire uses your booking link.
A quote from your own price list
The lines come from your Library at your rates. Claire approves on the phone, and the quote becomes job PD-0419.
Dropped into the week
Pick the day and who's going. Nathan gets a buzz and one tap opens PD-0419 with directions. Claire's tracking link shows when Nathan sets off.
Thursday 09:00 · NathanTimer, photos and a signature on the glass
Nathan starts the timer on arrival. Cracks filled and sanded, ceiling and walls given two coats, furniture covered and put back. Photos on the job.
Claire signs at 15:58. 6h 54m goes to Nathan's timesheet in two taps.
Invoiced before you leave
PD-0419 becomes the invoice with the hours and charges already on it. If you take cards, Claire scans a QR code. If not, reminders go out on their own.
Paid by card at 16:34What the job actually made
The costs were logged on PD-0419 as the work went, so its profit is already worked out. Reports add it up by month, with who still owes you.
Example figures: Nathan's wage and the buy prices are made up.

Never more than £70 for up to 5 or £100 for up to 10. That's the whole price list. Add people any time. The AI add-on is from £30 a month. Nothing is taken until day 15, and you can cancel any time.
Fair questions
What decorators ask
Can I price one coat and two coats?
Yes. Put each version on the same quote as an option with its own lines, and the customer picks one as they accept.
Do I have to list every tin on the invoice?
No. Tick bill as one price when you create the invoice. The customer sees one figure, and the breakdown is kept in a note.
Can I keep colours and finishes with the job?
Yes. Add custom job fields for the colour and the finish, and photograph the swatch onto the job.
Does it work out paint quantities?
No. FESK.UK doesn't measure rooms or calculate litres. Work out the quantities the way you do now, and the paint goes on the quote from your Library.
