Brain dump
Say or type everything on your mind, in any order. FESK AI turns it into drafts for you to check.
The short version: each tool fills something in, and a person decides what happens next. Front Desk only files an enquiry. Ask AI changes nothing until you tap to confirm. Document Import adds nothing until you press Add to job. The brain dump saves nothing until you approve each draft.
The customers and jobs in the examples below are made up.
Front Desk
Your website answers at 2am
A chat on your website. It asks visitors what they need, answers simple questions from facts you give it, and files the enquiry for you to call back.
How it works
- The visitor gives their name and emailThe chat only starts after that, which keeps bots out.
- It asks what they needOne question at a time: the job, then the best number to call. You choose whether it also asks for more detail, an address or a good time to call. They can add photos.
- It answers from your factsYour hours, the areas you cover, your services: whatever you've written in its settings. If the answer isn't there, it says the team will confirm.
- It knows when you're closedSet your opening hours, and out of hours it tells them you're closed and when you open.
- The enquiry lands in EnquiriesWith any photos, and admins get a notification. You turn it into a job, for a customer you already have or a new one.
- Hi, my boiler's making a banging noise and there's water under it. Can someone come out? boiler.jpg
- Front DeskSorry to hear that, Sam. I've noted the banging, the water under the boiler and your photo. What's the best number to reach you on?
- 07700 900421, mornings are best
- Front DeskThanks. We're closed now and open at 8am. Someone will call you first thing.

- Use your colours, logo and wording
- Offer short replies the visitor can tap
- Run on more than one website, each with its own inbox

- Create a job or a customer. You do that from Enquiries.

- What it needs
- The AI add-on. It doesn't use seats. Each extra website with its own Front Desk is £16 a month.
Ask AI
Ask about your own jobs
Open Ask AI from its button in the app and type a question the way you'd ask the office. It looks the answer up in your account, and it can make small changes once you've confirmed them.
Ask it things like
- What's booked in for the next week?
- When did we last go out to Sam Doyle?
- Who's logged the most hours this week?
- Which customers haven't had a job in six months?
- How do I send a quote?
- What did we make on materials this month? Admins
Or ask it to
- Log hours on a job, or add a note to it
- Add a customer, or a new job. It can read the details from a photo.
- Change a job's status or reschedule it, if you're an admin
Each one shows as a card first. Nothing changes until you tap its button.
- When did we last go out to Sam Doyle?

- Add a note to it: he'd like his annual service booked for March.

Document Import
Stop retyping supplier invoices

- It reads the invoiceThe supplier, invoice number, date and total, then each line with its quantity and price.
- You check the linesUntick what you don't want, fix anything it misread and add your selling price.
- Add to jobThe lines go on the job's costs, and the supplier details go in the job notes.

Help with the typing
Three buttons that turn rough notes into tidy wording. Each one fills in a box, and you can still change what it writes.
-
Write it up
In a job's Engineer's report, type rough notes and tap Write it up. It turns them into a clear account of the work for the customer, and it's told not to add parts, readings or prices you didn't write.
Needs an AI seat.
-
Tidy the title
Type a few rough words as a job's title and tap . It suggests a short, clear title in the capitalisation you use.
You can switch it off in Settings.
-
Tidy the description
Jot rough notes in a job's description and tap . It rewrites them clearly, and it's told to keep your facts and add none. Undo puts your words back.
You can switch it off in Settings.

Before you switch it on
Not sure it fits?
Email support@fesk.uk. A person replies within 24 hours, Monday to Friday.
Can Front Desk see my customers or prices?
No. It has no way to look anything up in your account. The only thing it can do is file the enquiry it's taking. From your account, it knows your business name, your opening hours and the facts you've written in its settings. Nothing else.
Will it give prices or book people in?
It has no way to book a time, and it's set up not to quote. If a visitor asks for a price, it tells them the team will confirm when they call. You decide the price and the time.
Does everyone on my team need a seat?
Only the people who use Ask AI, Document Import, the brain dump or Write it up. Front Desk doesn't use seats.
Can I try the AI tools on the free trial?
Yes. Switch them on when you sign up and they're part of your 14-day trial. You can switch them off in Billing.
What does the AI get to see?
Each tool sends the AI model only what it needs for its reply: the visitor's chat for Front Desk, your question and the records it looks up for Ask AI, and the file you add for Document Import. We never sell your data.
Try the AI tools on real work.
Switch them on when you start your trial, and Front Desk can be on your website the same day.
