What you get
Where a handyman business feels the difference
Handyman work is lots of small jobs, and each needs a price, a time and an invoice. These parts of FESK.UK keep that quick.
Small jobs added in a tap
Quick-add takes a title, the customer and today or tomorrow. Templates hold the jobs you repeat, like a flat-pack wardrobe or a TV bracket, with the hours and priced lines already on them.
Your hourly rate and minimum charge
Keep an hourly rate and a minimum charge as Library services. The timer rounds up to the quarter hour when you stop it, so the invoice matches the time you were there.
Landlords and agents with many addresses
Add each property as a site under the landlord, then send one combined invoice at month end, with a heading and subtotal for each job. A monthly check on an empty flat can repeat on its own.
Found a bigger job while you were there
Add it to the remedial works list on the job, and Raise quote turns it into a quote with the lines filled in. The approved quote becomes the next job.
Paid at sign-off
The customer signs on your screen and, with Stripe connected, scans a QR code to pay there and then. The screen turns green when it lands.
The whole odd jobs list up front
Ask for the list on your booking link, so the customer writes out everything they need doing before you arrive. With the AI add-on, Front Desk takes up to eight photos with the enquiry too.
One job, start to finish
Shelves, a sticking door and a tap, from the first message to paid
Margaret Lyle and Steve are made up; what the app does is real.
It starts on your website, at any hour
Margaret writes in the night. With the AI add-on, Front Desk replies and files it. Without it, Margaret uses your booking link.
A quote from your own price list
The lines come from your Library at your rates. Margaret approves on the phone, and the quote becomes job HM-0928.
Dropped into the week
Pick the day and who's going. Steve gets a buzz and one tap opens HM-0928 with directions. Margaret's tracking link shows when Steve sets off.
Thursday 09:00 · SteveTimer, photos and a signature on the glass
Steve starts the timer on arrival. Two shelves up in the alcove, bedroom door planed and rehung, tap cartridge replaced. Photos on the job.
Margaret signs at 11:30. 2h 26m goes to Steve's timesheet in two taps.
Invoiced before you leave
HM-0928 becomes the invoice with the hours and charges already on it. If you take cards, Margaret scans a QR code. If not, reminders go out on their own.
Paid by card at 12:06What the job actually made
The costs were logged on HM-0928 as the work went, so its profit is already worked out. Reports add it up by month, with who still owes you.
Example figures: Steve's wage and the buy prices are made up.

Everything else is in there too

Never more than £70 for up to 5 or £100 for up to 10. That's the whole price list. Add people any time. The AI add-on is from £30 a month. Nothing is taken until day 15, and you can cancel any time.
Fair questions
What handymen ask
Isn't it a lot for jobs that take an hour?
A small job can be a title, a customer and a date. The timer, photos and sign-off are there when you want them, and the invoice is made from the job.
Can a landlord get one invoice for several jobs?
Yes. Tick the finished jobs for that customer and invoice them together on one combined invoice.
Do I need a quote for every job?
No. Book the job straight in and invoice it from the hours and parts. Quote when the customer wants a price first.
Is there a risk assessment for this kind of work?
Yes. A built-in RAMS covers a handyman and small maintenance visit, and you can change it or use your own.
