What you get
Where a locksmith feels the difference
Locksmith work comes at all hours and is paid on the spot. These parts of FESK.UK are set up for that.
A lockout is a job in a few taps
The quick-add button is on every page: what it is, the customer and today. A job booked outside your opening hours gets a warning on the schedule, but it's never blocked.
An arrival time for someone stuck outside
Tap On my way and the app works out the drive from your phone and sends the customer an arrival time by text or email.
Night and weekend rates ready to pick
Keep day, evening and night call-outs as separate Library services with their own prices. Staff hours can carry an overtime, weekend or call-out uplift.
Card taken before you pack up
With Stripe, take a card in the app or let the customer scan a QR code. The screen turns green when it lands, and a receipt goes by email.
Cylinders and locks in the van
Stock has quantities and locations, with a low-stock flag on the Stock tab. QR labels on the van shelves scan with the phone, and each lock goes on the job at cost and sale price.
Working alone at night
Lone-worker check-ins ask "Are you OK?" when a job runs overdue, and text the office if there's no answer. From 17:00, anyone who worked alone gets a "Home safe?" prompt.
One job, start to finish
New locks after moving in, from the first message to paid
Jess Morgan and Kieran are made up; what the app does is real.
It starts on your website, at any hour
Jess writes in the night. With the AI add-on, Front Desk replies and files it. Without it, Jess uses your booking link.
A quote from your own price list
The lines come from your Library at your rates. Jess approves on the phone, and the quote becomes job LK-0137.
Dropped into the week
Pick the day and who's going. Kieran gets a buzz and one tap opens LK-0137 with directions. Jess's tracking link shows when Kieran sets off.
Thursday 09:00 · KieranTimer, photos and a signature on the glass
Kieran starts the timer on arrival. Front and back cylinders replaced with anti-snap cylinders. Every key tried in both doors before handing them over.
Jess signs at 10:02. 0h 58m goes to Kieran's timesheet in two taps.
Invoiced before you leave
LK-0137 becomes the invoice with the hours and charges already on it. If you take cards, Jess scans a QR code. If not, reminders go out on their own.
Paid by card at 10:38What the job actually made
The costs were logged on LK-0137 as the work went, so its profit is already worked out. Reports add it up by month, with who still owes you.
Example figures: Kieran's wage and the buy prices are made up.

Fair questions
What locksmiths ask
Can I take a card at two in the morning?
Yes, with Stripe connected and a signal on the phone. Cash and bank transfers can be recorded against the invoice.
Can I charge more for nights and weekends?
Yes. Set each call-out rate as its own service and pick the right one on the job.
Can the invoice go to the insurer after a burglary?
Yes. Make the insurer or the agent the customer, with the householder's address as a site, and put their claim reference in the PO field.
Does it keep key codes or a master key register?
No. There's no key register. The office note on the job holds access details that only your team sees.
