For gardeners and landscapers

Job management software for gardeners and landscapers

Fortnightly mowing rounds, hedge cutting, spring tidy-ups, turfing, fencing and patios: the regular visits repeat on their own, and the one-off work is quoted, approved and paid from a link.

What you get

Where a gardening business feels the difference

Most of the year is the same gardens every couple of weeks, with bigger landscaping jobs fitted round them. These parts of FESK.UK handle both.

  • Mowing rounds on a fortnightly repeat

Set each lawn to repeat weekly in the growing season or every 2 weeks, raised a few days early if you like. Pause the repeats over winter and resume them in March, without setting each customer up again.

  • The week ahead, with the weather

The Week ahead card on the dashboard shows the forecast for your area. When Wednesday looks wet, drag the visits to Thursday, and with booked-in messages switched on, each customer hears about the new day.

  • A round planned around the miles

The Route Planner orders the day's gardens into a sensible drive, shows the miles saved and the fuel cost for the van, and takes a stop at the tip. Save the round and load it again in two weeks.

  • Turf, bark and green waste priced

Rolls of turf, bags of bark, plants and a green waste charge sit in the Library at cost and sale price, so a landscaping quote adds up as you build it. The margin shows to anyone allowed to see costs.

  • Patios and fences quoted with a deposit

Quote a patio from your Library, with good, better and best versions if you switch options on, and take a deposit as the customer accepts. A job over several days is one job with a date for each day.

  • Hedges and groundworks risk assessed

Built-in RAMS cover hedge cutting and garden maintenance, fencing and paving, and small excavation. The crew sign on their phones, and the pre-start check runs before the timer starts.

Could you cut a long laurel hedge and tidy the front lawn before we have people round on Saturday?
We can do that, Liz. I've noted the hedge and the lawn, needed before Saturday, and your photo. What's the best number to reach you on?

Fair questions

What gardeners ask

What happens to my rounds in winter?

Pause the repeat and nothing is raised until you resume it. A once-a-year job, like an autumn hedge cut, can be its own yearly repeat. The customer, the address and the price stay set up, so spring starts with the same round.

Can customers pay monthly for fortnightly cuts?

Yes. Each cut is its own job, so at the end of the month tick that customer's finished jobs and send one combined invoice, with each visit under its own heading.

Does it do my books or my VAT return?

No. FESK.UK does the quoting and invoicing and syncs with QuickBooks, Xero or Sage for the books. Without an accounting package it works on its own, and you can download your data any time.

Can I add a green waste charge to some visits only?

Yes. Add the green waste line to the visit it applies to, and it goes on that invoice only. A tip fee can go on a job as a one-off line too.

Try it on your next job.

Set a password, pick your team size and add a card. Nothing is taken until day 15.
