On the doorstep
Paid at sign-off
When the job is done, show a QR code or send a pay link by text or email. The screen turns green when the money lands.
Finish and sign off
The customer signs on your phone. The sign-off sheet shows no prices.
Show the QR code or send the link
They scan the code, or tap the link you texted or emailed, and pay on their own phone.
Watch it turn green
The payment lands on the invoice by itself, and the customer gets a receipt.
Ways to pay
However they like to pay
With Stripe connected, every invoice carries a pay link, so the customer can pay from the email, the text or the invoice page.
-
Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay
Taken online through Stripe, or in the app for the full balance or a deposit.
-
Pay by Bank
Open banking through Stripe, shown first on larger invoices. Stripe has to approve your account before you can turn it on.
-
Cash, transfer or cheque
Record it with a date and a reference, including part payments. Your bank details show on the invoice when online payment is off.
Chasing
Reminders you control
Switch them on once and overdue invoices are chased by email and text, getting firmer over three stages.
What goes out
- A heads-up before the due date, and a note on the day.
- Overdue reminders a day after it's due, then weekly, getting firmer each time.
- Your own wording, with merge fields and a preview.
- Chase one invoice, or every overdue invoice in one go.
"Can't pay today?"
The customer picks a date up to two weeks ahead. The reminders pause until then, and you're told if the date is missed.
Nobody has to make an awkward phone call, and you still know when to expect the money.

Fair questions
About payments
Which payment methods can my customers use?
Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay through Stripe, plus Pay by Bank once Stripe has approved it for your account. You can also record cash, bank transfer and cheque, including part payments.
Do I need a Stripe account?
Yes, for online payments. You connect it once and every invoice carries a pay link. Without it, your bank details show on the invoice so the customer can pay by transfer.
What if a customer can't pay straight away?
They can tap "Can't pay today?" and promise a date up to two weeks ahead. The reminders pause, and you're told if the date is missed.
Can I change what the reminders say?
Yes. You edit the wording, with merge fields and a preview. The heads-up, the note on the due date and the three overdue stages each have their own message.
